Our organisation
Rosewood House Ltd operates a specialist residential care home for older adults in Highgate, London. We provide high-quality care to our residents with dignity, respect, and attention to their individual needs. Our team of permanent, salaried staff work together to create a home-like environment where residents feel valued.

Our employment practices include:

- Clear, written contracts in English with no hidden charges or deductions
- Mandatory safeguarding and dignity training for all staff
- Regular supervision and support for all team members
- Open recruitment process with full background checks and verification of identity and qualifications

Our supply chain
We work with external suppliers and contractors (including catering, cleaning, maintenance, and healthcare providers). We ensure these partners:

Risk assessment
We assess the risks of modern slavery occurring in our operations and supply chain by:

Due diligence and remediation

Raising concerns
All staff, residents, families, and suppliers are encouraged to raise concerns about potential slavery or exploitation. Concerns can be raised:
- Directly to any member of staff or our Home Manager

- Via our formal Complaints Procedure
- To the Gangmaster and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) or the Modern Slavery Helpline for anonymous reports
Training and awareness
We provide training to all staff on:
- Recognising the signs of modern slavery and exploitation
- Our policies and procedures for reporting concerns
- The care and support available to victims
- Legal obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015
Governance and accountability
Our approach to modern slavery prevention is governed by our senior management team. We:
