Time together matters

Visit in a way that feels natural

At Rosewood House, we believe visiting should feel relaxed and unhurried. This is your loved one's home, and you are always welcome.

You are very welcome to join your loved one for meals or refreshments. If you'd like to stay for lunch or afternoon tea, please let us know the day before so our chef can prepare accordingly. Many families choose to celebrate special occasions with us, and we are always happy to help make these moments feel personal and memorable.

Visiting hours

Visitors are welcome at any time of day. There are no fixed visiting hours. We simply ask that you sign in on arrival so we know who is in the home, helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.

You're free to spend time together in whichever way feels right, whether that's in a private room, one of our lounges, or enjoying the garden.

Family, friends, and pets

We welcome family and friends of all ages. Children are always welcome, and we encourage meaningful time together across generations.

Well-behaved dogs are also welcome by arrangement, as we know how important they can be for comfort and companionship.

Planning your visit

You're welcome to visit without an appointment. If you'd like to arrange a tour, speak with a member of the team, or plan something specific, we recommend getting in touch in advance so we can give you the time and attention you deserve.

Your first visit

We understand that visiting for the first time can feel like a big step. Many families choose to visit more than once before making any decisions, taking time to get a feel for the home.

If you'd like a little extra guidance, our Home Manager, Margaret, will be happy to help you plan your visit and answer any questions.

A safe and supportive environment

While visits are relaxed and flexible, we also take our responsibility for safety and wellbeing seriously. Our team may occasionally offer gentle guidance where needed, particularly if a resident requires rest or additional support.
